1 11 57 Abbey Memorials Ltd CLICK HERE for fly thru of HOLE 1

A gentle introduction with out of bounds to the left and back that will only catch the wayward. The green slopes back to the teebox so be aware of to much spin.

2 13 45 Liam and Mary Sherry CLICK HERE for fly thru of HOLE 2

Difficult to get close as the green slopes away from you off the tee. The mound short of the green makes the hole look shorter than it is. Leave yourself an uphill put if possible.

3 7 49 John Dillon CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 3

Good pitching hole over small bunker. It is all uphill and normally into the prevailing wind off the south west. A flat green will reward a bold tee shot.

4 3 60 Delaney Engineering Ltd. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 4

A downhill pitch over a mound to a sloping green. In dry conditions the stream at the back comes into play. A prefered pitch would be to the centre/back of the green to leave an uphill putt.

5 10 47 D Brennans and Sons Ltd CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 5

Uphill pitch to a difficult putting green. Take care on your putt as it wont be straighforward. Judging pitching distance can be quite tricky.

6 17 38 Michael Dillon CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 6

A recently reconstructed green has added some sublte breaks to your putt. Be aware the stream at the rear has claimed many golf balls over the years.

7 1 62 McTernans Pub. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 7.

Great pitching hole from a new elevated tee over the stream to a horse shoe shaped green with out of bounds on the left. Pay attention to the wind as it will have a huge part to play in your pitch.

8 5 64 Fallons of Kilcullen. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 8.

Another long hole over a green side mound. Be aware of some subtle breaks on your putt.

9 9 50 Steve’s Day Break. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 9.

Looks straight forward but difficult green to hold as the green slopes away from front to back. With no features greenside your pitch can be difficult to judge.

10 6 51 Berney’s Chemist CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 10.

Another new green for 2022. Square in shape and 90% of the green feeds down to the valley between the trees. A precise pitch required.

11 14 48 The Spout. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 11.

Judgement of distance is important as the hole is surrounded by banks. A pitch that is slightly long will be swallowed up by bushes.

12 16 51 Bardons Pub. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 12.

Looks similar to the 11th but difficult to get close if the pin is set behind the approach bunker on the left. The green feeds down from left to right so keep that in mind off the tee.

13 8 58 Kilcullen Community Centre. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 13.

Very interesting hole along with out of bounds on the left guarded by banks at the front of the green. There are two pin positions used on this hole and both require a firm putt into the hole otherwise the ball will fall away on its last revolutions.

14 12 45 Crookstown Service Station & Craft Village. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 14.

Looks simple but looks can be deceiving!! Very easy to over pitch or under pitch and walk away with a 4.

15 2 68 Fire Stop. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 15.

Long and difficult hole as the out of bounds is on the left and the stream to the rear. The grass mound at the front is still some metres from the green. Take a 3 and walk on.

16 18 33 Nolans Butchers Kilcullen. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 16.

Relatively simple short pitch over a bunker. Good birdie chance.

17 15 51 Kilcullen Credit Union. CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 17.

Nice shot over a bank to a green that favours a pitch to the back. Beware of overshooting the green. It will leave you a difficult chip back.

18 4 57 The Byrne Family.

CLICK HERE for a fly thru of HOLE 18.

Superb finishing hole and probably the most difficult hole on the course. The stream is located close to the green and not easy to hold the pitch shot as the green slopes away once past the flag.

What a great course and an equally great welcome. Played as part of a society and really enjoyed the challenge all in a beautifully relaxed setting.
